Tip Friendly Society

INTRODUCTION
The Annette Fraser Staff Scholarship is available to permanent TIP Friendly Society staff members who have been employed for at least four (4) years and are in the final year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program. Before beginning this application, ensure you have digital copies of all required supporting documents. Files must be uploaded in PDF, JPG, or PNG format.

All documents must be clear, readable, and officially issued where required. Incomplete or unclear submissions will delay or disqualify your application.


REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE GRANTING OF SCHOLARSHIPS

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. The candidate must be a permanent member of staff of TIP Friendly Society for at least four (4) years.
2. The candidate should be in an area of study that is deemed connected to the business of TIP
Friendly Society
3. The candidate must have a G.P.A. of at least 3.5.
4. The candidate should be in the final year of study of an undergraduate or postgraduate
degree by an accredited institution in Jamaica.
5. The candidate must be in good financial standing and of good character.
6. The candidate will be bonded by TIP Friendly Society for two (2) years following the
completion of study.

Application form must be accompanied by:
1. Evidence that the applicant is currently pursuing an undergraduate/postgraduate degree at an accredited university.
2. Evidence of date of program completion
3. Certified copy of transcript
4. One character reference from one of the following officials, who is a citizen of Jamaica, not a member of the applicant’s family and has been personally acquainted with the applicant for a period not less than twelve (12) months:
5. Minister of Religion, Justice of the Peace, Attorney-at-law, Manager from any regulated financial institution, Medical Practitioner, Resident Magistrate, Parish Councillor, TIP Manager
6. Statement of intention of applicant after completion of program of study
